Mr. Ekramuzzaman holds an Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) degree and boasts an extensive career in the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), where he served for over 32 years as a commissioned officer in the Engineering branch. He retired with the rank of Air Commodore on 30 September 2023.
Throughout his distinguished service in the BAF and as the Director of Engineering at Biman Bangladesh Airlines (on deputation), he acquired profound expertise in various domains, including military and civilian aircraft maintenance, Human Resource Management, hardware and software applications, Management Information Systems (MIS), Technical Training Management, Tender Specifications Preparation and Evaluation, Contract Agreements, Capital Equipment Procurement, Project Management, and Contract Negotiations.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Ekramuzzaman has attained an MBA with a major in Human Resource Management, focusing on key areas such as Human Resources Management, Compensation Management, Health and Safety Management, Operations Management, Strategic Management, and Training and Development.
He also holds an M.Phil degree with a specialization in MIS, and a Ph.D. in Fire Safety Management in the Industrial Sector of Bangladesh, particularly Electrical Fire Safety Management, from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
